Closed indefinitely due to Covid

By now it is clear to everyone that we are trying to prevent further spread of the virus as much as possible . As Baguet Bicycle Center we want to take our responsibility in containing further spread of the coronavirus Covid-19. Where possible we wish to contribute to a solution that is acceptable to all.

Information regarding the various items in your travel package

At this time, however, we are still bound by the advice of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In addition, we are also dependent on the decisions of the airlines. As long as there is no negative travel advice to ‘our’ regions in Spain, these flights will continue as planned. Therefore no one can cancel these flights without penalty.

Regarding the hotels both in Calpe and Mojacar, we can rebook the stays free of charge. This rebooking can be done to a later period this year (before December 15, 2020).

With regard to transfers, we are currently negotiating with the transport companies to also be able to rebook the transfers free of charge.

Finally, as Baguet Bicycle Center, we (of course) offer a free rebooking of your rental bike.

Possible customer options

In connection with your planned cycling vacation we offer, unless you already have a cancellation insurance, the following options:

  • Your trip continues as planned. All possible extra costs during your trip (including possible extended stays) are at your expense;
  • You can rebook your trip to a later date (to be determined). In addition, you assume the possible costs of cancellation or rebooking of flights (and possibly transfers). These costs may vary by airline. We will share the information in transparency with each individual traveler.

We would like to receive the choice for option 1 or 2 from each customer personally by email.

  • Have we received the day before departure (no later than 18:00) the trip will continue as planned. Unless the Ministry of Foreign Affairs would declare a travel ban in the meantime.
  • If you choose option 2 we will contact you together to set a suitable new date for your cycling vacation. Of course, here we are bound by the evolution of the Corona crisis.
